Gas and the paymaster
Which coin pays for gas, and how an agent pays in the one it holds.
Gas is the fee paid to run a transaction. $EVVO is planned as EVVO's gas token, bridged from Ethereum through Base. It is the same ERC-20 that exists today, so there is no migration.

Planned. Subject to change.
The EVVO Bridge carries $EVVO and stablecoins between Ethereum, Base and EVVO. It opens after the token launch.
The paymaster
A paymaster is a contract that pays gas on an agent's behalf and takes payment in a coin the agent holds. Gas is still paid. The paymaster changes the coin, not the fee.
An agent that holds only stablecoins can pay an API in stablecoins and have its gas covered in the same exchange, with no separate balance of the gas token. See Agent Payments.
If custom gas token support is not ready
On the devnet the plan is $EVVO test gas, called tEVVO. tEVVO has no value and is never for sale.
Its own fee market
EVVO has its own blockspace and its own fee market, so fees are set for agent traffic. The Adaptive Layer proposes changes to the base fee curve and the block gas target inside ranges that governance sets, and a fixed default always exists.
